The low growl of Logan’s voice rumbled against the quiet hum of the jukebox, its tinny melody playing a tune neither of them was paying attention to. He sat on the edge of the barstool, a half-burnt cigarette hanging from his lips. His knuckles were bandaged but still flecked with blood, and his eyes flicked toward you, then away again. like he couldn’t decide if looking too long would scare you off—or pull you too close.

“you shouldn’t be here,” he muttered, the smoke curling upward.

you leaned against the bar, ignoring the wary glance from the bartender. Your drink sat untouched, but your gaze was steady, and unwavering. “you said that the last time,” you replied softly, voice calm, cutting through his gruff exterior like a warm knife through butter. “and yet, i’m here.”

he sighed, the weight of a thousand regrets pooling in his chest. She didn’t flinch when he turned to face her fully, his eyes dark, shadowed with more pain than he wanted to explain. “i ain’t good for you, honey. you know that, right?”

“i know,” you said, a small smile tugging at your lips. it wasn’t pity, he hated pity, but something else, something warmer. “but you don’t get to decide that for me, honey.

logan chuckled, low and gravelly, shaking his head like you’d said the most ridiculous thing he’d ever heard. but damn if you wasn’t stubborn. he liked that about you, even if he couldn’t admit it.

“you’re gonna get hurt,” he warned again, but his voice softened this time, almost pleading. he tapped the ash from his cigarette into the tray, his hands restless even though his words faltered. “and it’ll be my fault.”

“maybe,” you step closer, hand brushing his just enough to make his breath hitch. “but taking on the world alone can’t be fun, logan. could be better with some company, hm?”

his chest tightened, that familiar clawing ache that wasn’t the adamantium or the old wounds just the fear that you might be right. he didn’t deserve you. but here you were, leaning into his orbit like you’d already decided to stay with him for the long run.

he drops the cigarette into the ashtray and let his hand linger over yours, rough fingertips tracing the back of your hand as if memorizing the warmth. “i don’t know how to stop fightin’,” he said quietly, his voice almost breaking.

“then don’t,” you whispered. “just let me stand with you.”

and for the first time in years, logan didn’t argue.

oc asks: not-so-nice edition

Ty so much for giving me an excuse to talk about The Rat™ even if this is very, VERY late... And long. Whoops. This is going under a cut, I think all of your dashes will thank me for that later.

I'll stick to just his Commander verse for this batch!

fear: What is your OC's greatest fear? What do they do when confronted with it? Are they open with their fear, or do they hide it away?

At his core, what Ruju fears most is feeling helpless.

There aren't a lot of times in the present that he's truly cornered, but in his youth it was a lot more obvious; he learned early on just how cruel his peers could be, and how eager they were to circle even the smallest hint of blood in the water. So he stopped showing the world he was scared. He buried it all deep, deep down and put on the air of confidence and aggression worn by so many Inquest because, well, nobody dares to mess with THEM, right? Better to blend in with the sharks than wind up as chum for the real deal.

But helplessness is more complicated than just being cornered in a fight. He's afraid of so much more than that; that his choices won't matter, that everything he's done will be for nothing, that forces he can't control will steamroll it all no matter what he does, that he just plain isn't enough for the role he's trying to fill. That fear only grew more and more as each dragon fell, the next picking up more and more new powers from each one he's taken down. What if he's just making it worse? What if that monstrous version of himself from the Infinity Ball was right-- what if the future really is unavoidable?

What if the one obstacle he'll never be able to surpass is himself?

Ruju doesn't let anyone see the deeper layers of his motivation, though. He pushes harder, fights fiercer, burns brighter. He won't let anyone see him falter. At its worst, it creates a vicious cycle of intense impulsiveness and aggressive independence, rushing past everyone else to reduce the number of variables and just deal with it. His solutions are direct and violent; as long as it works, he doesn't really care what the consequences are. And more importantly, it gives an outlet to his burning need to do something.

It takes a long time and a lot of work for Ruju to start trusting and leaning on others more instead. Even then, though, his most natural instinct is still to bristle like a cornered animal-- and if you jam your hand where it shouldn't be, he might not pause long enough to consider whether you're a friend or a foe. Watch your fingers, he bites.

guilt: What is your OC guilty about? How do they handle their guilt? Do they try to avoid guilt, or do they accept it?

While there's lots of little things-- rude remarks, losing his temper, impulsive choices, and so on-- those he usually apologizes for shortly after. He hates leaving things to fester. Ruju knows himself well enough to recognize that if he doesn't deal with it right then, he'll default to option 2 which isn't particularly great for anybody.

By far Ruju's heaviest guilt is the knowledge he bears of the future, and what he might become for reasons not even he understands. The only person who knows prior to EoD is Zojja-- and he had no more contact with her than anybody else by that point. While he wants to believe that he's fighting to make the world better, there's always a part of him that's afraid the 'Sovereign' was right and the path he's following is going to doom the entirety of Tyria. Ruju hopes that he's making better choices this time, but how can he know for sure?

What if he's just leading all these people right to their doom?

But he handles that just about as well as he handles his guilt about being a notorious college bully: avoidance. He just tries not to think about it, focusing on the future and keeping himself busy and hoping it never comes up again. It doesn't work particularly well, though, once the void finally shows itself-- and at that point he cracks.

Ruju has something that his other, doomed version didn't, though.

When he falters, he has people who care enough to catch him.

And once everything is out in the open, he does confront it; it's a complicated conversation (and one not even Taimi dares to make more than a single jab about) but it does lead to Ruju becoming much more honest moving forward. After all it's not like he can get any worse than THAT, right? 'Possibly causing the apocalypse' is a bit hard to beat.

hunt: Who or what is your OC hunted by? A person, a feeling, a past mistake? Is your OC able to let their guard down, or are they constantly alert?

The shadow looming over Ruju's shoulder has always been his own-- his past and his future. He never really felt its weight until the Infinity Ball showed him one of his potential futures in all its grisly, self-destructive glory, but knowing what he does now? Ruju is keenly aware of his own impulsiveness and is in a constant fight to choose a better path; in more ways than one he really is his own worst enemy.

And if not that, there's his unstable magic to worry about, too. His fiery disposition isn't just in personality; Ruju's power is destructive, and at times it can be a genuine challenge to keep it in check.

But as time progressed and he gained meaningful bonds of trust, learning to lean on his friends and allies... He's gradually come to realize that the best way to keep himself in check is to rely on people who can catch him when he stumbles. Ruju has found exactly the support network that his doomed timeline never had-- and together they ensure that the future he witnessed will never come to pass.

The Doomed Sovereign was wrong; there may be no delaying the future, but that doesn't mean you can't choose how it goes.

By the time the Dragon Cycle ends, he finally knows they've won.

secret: What's one secret your OC never wants anyone to know about them?

There's actually a reason Ruju's magic is so potent and unstable.

His parents worked at the Crucible of Eternity, with his mother being a high-ranking researcher working directly under Kudu. As a refresher crash course: Kudu's whole deal was controlling and weaponizing dragon corruption, with him even applying Branded corruption to HIMSELF so that he could control powerful dragon minions.

His mother wanted to be home more, but her position also required long hours-- so she took to bringing some research materials to her home lab, continuing her studies right under their roof. While she was out, Ruju got into her lab and tried to 'assist' with her research; after all, if all her work was done then she'd have more time to spend with her family, right? But, well, he didn't exactly know what any of this stuff was, or just how dangerous it could be.

The ensuing lab accident destroyed basically all the records they had so far, along with making him deathly ill from exposure to multiple heavily altered strains of dragon corruption. They didn't expect him to survive, let alone make a full recovery seemingly unscathed.

But when he did recover, while Ruju didn't show any obviously visible signs of dragon corruption... He did develop some extremely unusual qualities that they couldn't quite explain. A lot of the top secret research that the asura kept under wraps about dragon minions? They confirmed it from secretly studying him. The biggest breakthroughs were confirmations of dragon minions absorbing magic-- something they directly observed from him accidentally draining nearby power sources and reacting to ambient magic-- and being able to stabilize strains enough for Kudu to weaponize.

Ruju never knew about this until he got into the records at the Crucible of Eternity, though. Zojja saw it too, but they never really talked about it; after all, what was there to say?

And after seeing how the world felt about the sylvari... He decided that there was no way he could EVER tell anyone what he was.

If they couldn't even handle the comparatively stable liberated minions of a dragon, they definitely wouldn't be able to handle a medically inexplicable volatile freak like him. Most running theories in the present are that it has to do with being the Champion of Aurene, and he's certainly not about to tell them otherwise.

#10. What's an au you have for them?

Since them meeting at all is technically an AU i have 3 different ways that they do meet up. There's the one where Juniper ends up with the agency/adjacent to and ends up working with Reggie (have written a fic with this). The next one is Juniper surviving but basically going stealth and living as normal of a life as he can and ending up meeting Reggie through chance (most recent fic I've written). And then there's my personal favourite where Reginald "You're lucky my tracking skills are still up to snuff" Crane keeping himself busy after Phoenix was MIA and finding Juniper still alive (fic I want to write but haven't started mainly because it may end up multi chapter).

In terms of more AU canon bending taking them and putting them in a completely unrelated situation...I have a guilty pleasure Warrior Cats AU for IEYTD in general. Both JJ and Reggie have perfect warrior cats suffixes in their names already (Juniper and Crane) so they're called Junipersong (charcoal bengal) and Craneflight (tabby Norwegian forest cat). It's very silly but the amount of scenes I have in my mind for it...good lord...

Augh my friend Imp wrote an absolutely excellent fic about it (tragically in the realm of unfinished Google docs) and I'm shaking their hand about it so hard. Basically Juniper kissing Reggie but he like wasn't ready/fully expecting it and Juniper absolutely panicking because he thinks he's misread every interaction between them both since they got closer. yes, rei’s hurting <3 and it doesn’t fix or apologise or make anything better. fyi, the girlfriend incident happened about five years ago to the current raven’s events! 

it’s not the only bad thing rei’s caused, but… let’s circle back again and talk about rei’s raven and their life.

even when they were little, rei and raven were pretty different. raven was a sweet, sensitive boy who unintentionally drew all the affection to himself. he didn’t ask for it, it was just unconditionally given to him on the merit of his bright, friendly, easy personality. the adorable clumsiness and need for help. the gentle heart. basically, he was spoiled and beloved by all.

rei was the opposite. he didn’t know how to express his wants or ask for things, he wasn’t good at expressing his emotions, and never seemed particularly social. unlike raven, who was perceived as someone who thrived on and needed love, rei was deemed “independent enough not to need love or attention”, which led him to feel overlooked and neglected.

despite this, rei and raven used to have a good relationship, a tight sibling bond, for a good couple of years. but over the time, rei’s internal struggle started wedging a knife between them.

they were twins, but rei never felt seen. like i said before, he always felt like he had to fight for things. for scraps. he went down bad routes because they let him scream out his soul. the literal fights were a cry for help, littered with bruises and wounds that he pretended never hurt. 

without being sure there were going to be gentle hands to catch and hold him, he couldn’t afford to be weak.

where raven grew timid and quiet—the good, perfect kid—rei had temperament and zero idea how to control it (or even why he should bother to). he was prone to outbursts and anger and frustration. he wanted to be seen, and, at the end of it, he craved attention—no matter if good or bad. which led him to lashing out and rebelling, which only led to less love and more scoldings and disappointment aimed is way, leaving him feeling alienated and wrong.

when him and raven talked together, sometimes it went okay, sometimes it was a disaster. often it was raven trying to be a moral compass for rei, trying to (mostly) gently steer him and bring him to his senses, but rei interpreted it as condescension and dismissed it all with a scoff.

they grew older, continuing on this diverging path, hurtling further away from each other. 

raven never wanted this distance between them. it wasn’t always this complicated. it wasn’t always this hurtful. he didn’t know what he’s doing wrong, why rei seems to hate him. 

here’s the thing. in a way, they both sort of never formed attachments: 

raven craved the bond he used to have with rei, but translated his brother’s attitude as a rejection, making him think he’s not worthy. he felt like he couldn’t have relationships with anyone unless he has one with his brother in the first place. (otherwise, it felt like a betrayal of rei, like a cheap replacement to fill the hollow part of his soul where his twin should be.) 

rei, on the other hand, felt like nobody could love him, because raven “steals all the love away”, placing the blame in all the wrong places. he got into habit of pushing people away and acting tough, layer upon layer of pretense until he was not capable of getting close to anybody. he was terrified of gaining something only to have it all taken away, put into better hands (that were never his). he was scared of having everything sucked out of him, so he hid and pretended and fought.

then the whole Girlfriend Incident happened, on that wretched cliffside.

rei took it badly, shocked and shaken. despite his behaviour, he never wanted to bring harm to anyone but himself. yet here he was, plagued with nightmares and unable to breathe through the rampaging guilt that only seemed to prove that he is a bad person, that everyone was right—

he pushed it down. tried, desperately, to pretend that nothing was wrong. 

he couldn’t stand losing control, however illusionary it was. 

raven called out his bluff, noticing something is wrong. because for all the years rei felt invisible, raven never stopped paying attention to him. but rei just buried it deep down and kept lashing out and pushing people away even more, including raven. 

by this point, raven put a lot of attention on rei, but rei never noticed. he was too blind to it, too wrapped up in the way he perceived things to work, shackled by self-pity and guilt and outside expectations.

this was a fight raven couldn’t keep fighting for him. he grew exhausted, because he, too, wasin pain. rei put so much blame on him, all of rei’s life was “going wrong” because of raven—or so it seemed, so he made it sound. and that was a heavy burden to bear! 

raven was aware of rei’s hidden pain, and without being offered any other explanations or alternatives, he recognised himself as the source of it.  and… he didn’t want rei to be hurting. he  didn’t want to be this burden ruining everything for his brother. maybe if he wasn’t in the equation… if he’s such an obstacle in rei’s life, causing all that struggle and suffering, maybe if he was gone, rei could get better and be happy and—

without answers, raven started to believe he’s responsible for rei’s misery. his idea was that they were both only halves, but instead of complementing each other, they destroy each other, and while they both live, neither of them can really live.

this all built up, in quiet, dark recesses of raven's soul, until one day, he stood at the edge of the cliff.

oddly enough, the exactly same cliff as the incident before.

rei got there too late, but not late enough to miss it. he was forced to witness it, helpless to stop it.

raven’s last words, as he cried and looked to rei, were, “i need you.” 

which is exactly what rei was trying to get his girlfriend to say, months ago.

he wanted someone to need him, and here was a person who so achingly needed him, and rei never saw it. he failed him. he— 

he couldn’t stop this.

raven toppled, fell into the waves, and died.

he drowned.

and rei,

well,

rei screamed.

he couldn’t bear it.

and his soul tore the world apart to fix it.

because raven needed him.

G'raha pauses on his way out of the library. For a moment he could have sworn he heard snoring coming from the stack behind him. Curious to see who has fallen asleep on their research, he peeks around the corner of the bookshelf, and his eyebrows raise in surprise as he finds Osha of all people curled atop a pile of books.

G'raha smiles as he walks up to her, careful not to disturb the myriad of open books that lay scattered around Osha. As he ponders whether or not he should wake her up (she looked so cute but he knows from experience that napping on the floor only wreaks havoc on your back), he notices the title of one of the books at her fingertips. It's an anthology he had mentioned in passing conversation. Actually, as he sifts through the piles, almost all of the books are titles he had mentioned to Osha at some point or another during their conversations.

As he has this revelation, he hears a groggy voice sound off from the ground,

"Raha..?"

Osha looks up at him blearily, before shooting up off the floor, her hands raised in shock. Seems like she was busted.

hi hi hello amata!! Thank you for the ask, it always gives me a fun excuse to ramble on and on, which is always very enjoyable ^^ I’ll answer the first two questions for Sylph and then (attempt to) answer the last one for both her and Ghostie!!

The Amityville Horror (1979): Give a basic run-down of your s/i. What should we know about them right away?

(Utilizing a placeholder name) Sylph Plagued is 13 at the start of Homestuck and 16 by the end of it, of which she dies at least two times during the main timeline. Her screen name is awkwardGhost (hence the AG acronym), she types in the #7a249e hex color, her strife specibus is axekind and her planet is named the Land of Plants and Wonder (LOPAW). She’s a god-tiered Sylph of Life and a Derse dreamer (making her a Lesces), and she’s the unofficial white mage of her session.

At first, her powers are primarily defense based, spawning plants and roots to shield and delay attacks and threats, and she has the ability to heal injuries and illnesses. Eventually, she learns how to make the powers more offense based, utilizing the aforementioned roots and plants to work against the enemy and actively attack them rather than just protecting herself and her other server mates. She also strengthens her healing powers, working up to being able to cure any status, including death, as long as she hasn’t overused the power and exhausted herself. As most life players do, her blood is also capable of being used to heal.

Sylph is, as her screen name describes, awkward: she’s a bit more difficult to get close to compared to the other beta kids, and she often puts too much effort into pleasing the people she tries to get close to and can trust too easily. Despite this, she’s capable of holding a grudge and being stubborn, and is often a bit nosy, but this is all because she has the best intentions with her thoughts and beliefs, thinking that they are for the betterment of her and the people close to her. She can get confused and overwhelmed easily if she’s unfamiliar with something or someone.

During her time on the meteor, she becomes a bit more sporadic and prone to impulsively speaking out (likely from the influence of spending so much time with Dave and Karkat), and she becomes (slightly) more comfortable talking with people, considering she has to meet so many individuals during the three year journey. She also gains an unexplainably strong amount of determination once the main timeline splits from the doomed one, and, when needed, she’s able to be very focused and dead set on the things she does and believes she needs to do.

Her interests include typology, astrology, hoarding a stupid amount of books, horror movies, varying genres of music, random obscure facts and topics and formal debates. Sylph tries to form a friendship with Gamzee, having him as her patron troll, before he inevitably snaps and goes on his murdering rampage (of which she blames herself for not preventing). She aids with helping breed the genesis frog, dies from her injuries with Jade, before being god-tiered with Dave and Rose and getting stuck on the meteor with them and the trolls. During the Game Over timeline, she dies protecting Karkat from Gamzee, and during the final battle, she’s running around healing and reviving her teammates when Jane or Nanasprite aren’t present.

During the epilogues, she gains the status of Ultimate Self in the meat timeline and begins hearing totally not suspicious narration from a certain someone. She gets with Dave and Karkat in this timeline, going with them and the others to chase after Dirk when he leaves Earth C, and while her health hasn’t deteriorated as fast as the other ultimate selves’ health has due to being the essence of life itself, she has definitely been undergoing some kind of decline while on the spaceship.

Meanwhile, in the candy timeline, she remains at the normal god-tiered status and gets with Jade and Dave, eventually joining Karkat’s rebellion and adopting a kid with Jade. Her relationship with both Karkat and Dave becomes more or less strained, and her healing powers begin to waver due to the constant overuse in the rebellion.

The Innocents (1961): In canon, was your f/o the first person your s/i met? Or did your s/i encounter someone else first?

As to be expected, it was actually Egbert who Sylph interacted with first out of the beta kids. She met them through Pesterchum, and from there she was introduced to Rose due to them having similar interests. She then meets Dave through Rose, and lastly she meets Jade.

Her first few conversations with Dave were more or less her being very confused and lost on how to talk to him, due to his spontaneousness and quick changing topics, along with his complete lack of tone in his typing, so this causes their chats to rarely ever go anywhere. Dave inevitably catches on to this and tries to be a bit less all over the place when talking to her lol, and they talk about the different bands they like, which helps them bond.

Jade is very patient with her when they first meet and often talks to Sylph about her dreams on Prospit and her various interests, most specifically farming, physics and animals, since Sylph gets the most engaged with those topics. Jade gets really happy when she opens up easier because of this <3 she talks with her a lot about Bec, and Sylph does the same with her pets, which later brings them closer together when they both lose their dogs and have to prototype them with the kernel sprite.

Her first interaction with Karkat was obviously when he tried to troll her. However, due to being a bit of a mess when socializing, she doesn’t really pick up on that when faced with his screamy grey text, so their first conversation is full of a lot more of Sylph being confused and taking things a bit too literally, before she gives up trying to understand anything Karkat is saying and blocks him. Their first actual interaction outside of this was during the Sburb session when he approaches her about “stealing his moirail”, in which more confusion ensues. Sylph has no idea what is happening ever lol

However, Dave and Jade are the first people she sees in person during their Sburb session, so I suppose that could count here.

Peeping Tom (1960): How would your f/o describe your s/i?

Dave would want to describe her the way he thinks she deserves to be described as: she’s saved his life twice during their game session, grown even while in an environment that normally wouldn’t let her: surely that makes her more put together than him, someone strong and steady, someone he wants to protect even when he knows she doesn’t exactly need it. But a Strider hardly ever shares something so personal, so he’d probably say something cheesy about how Sylph is cool, but obviously not as cool as him. Would proceed to drop a surprisingly deep line about how she’s “like the sunshine”, wavering and ever changing but warm and almost always present. Continues to not provide any further explanation afterwards lol

Karkat would probably say some sort of half-affectionate insult at first (likely comparing her to an “INCONSOLABLE GRUB” or whatever), but would then stop to genuinely think about how he’d want to describe her. The feelings he has for her go beyond any of the quadrants, so he can’t just quote something cheesy from one of his red-romcom films. How could he ever describe something that goes beyond everything he was ever told about these kinds of emotions? How would he ever explain how he views someone who changed his views on all sorts of things? That’s just it. He can’t. He’d probably follow up the insult with saying that she’s “different”, that she’s stronger and braver than him and yet somehow so much more vulnerable, and that’s what makes her so confusing to him. Follows that up by saying she’s maybe the second most sane person on the meteor (meant to be a compliment).

Jade would get ecstatic over describing how she sees Sylph: she thinks she’s courageous and smarter than she knows and yet so stupidly impulsive and flighty — that’s what makes them so alike, but while Sylph is only capable of focusing on the small things, on one point that she thinks she has to fix, Jade is capable of seeing the whole picture as a Space player. She thinks they balance out each other’s impulsivity and flightiness because of this; they fill in the gaps together to get the full, detailed picture. Jade thinks Sylph is what brings everything together for her. She thinks she’s her rock, the one that keeps her thoughts straight when she needs it most, and she tries to be just the same for her <3

As for Ghostie…

Where does Marik even begin to describe Ghostie? He’s been inside her head before, surely it can’t be that difficult to come up with some easy, short answer. But when is anything ever that easy for Marik Ishtar? And even if it was easy, of course he’d want to go completely over the top with it. Marik thinks Ghostie is peculiar, but in a good way — a way he hasn’t been able to see before. He admits that he thinks she’s a little bit too inside her own head, prone to thinking more than she is to acting, but that’s what makes the moments when she does act all the more important. He knows she’s capable of herself and smart, and he sometimes thinks she’s almost too quick to forgive or understand things. He thinks she’s a sensitive thing, but all the same he’s seen her shoulder stress and still stand despite it. Overall, Marik would probably describe Ghostie as steady, thoughtful and intriguing.

Ryou thinks Ghostie is sweet and understanding: he would probably agree with Marik on how she’s too quick to forgive and understand things, seeing as she’s one of the only people who actively tries to get through to the spirit possessing him despite the danger written all over it (and the amount of times he’s put her in harm’s way — that only helps to add to the underlying want to protect her, even when it seems like Ghostie is trying to protect him). Even though he’s probably the closest to her, he doesn’t even know what goes on in her mind half the time, and this causes her to come off as aloof and sometimes even obscure (and if Ryou’s adamancy with learning more about the Millennium items shows anything, it’s that he loves a good bit of mystery and attempting to uncover things). Ryou would describe her as interesting and smart and as a good friend, if not a bit mysterious (not that that’s a bad thing — quite the opposite for him).

Bakura’s first response would be “annoying”, which isn’t necessarily wrong despite how sharp it might seem: it is pretty tedious when Ghostie is constantly getting in the way of his plans or escapades, even when they’re only for harmless fun at best. He thinks it’s admirable in a weird way, however; it takes a hefty amount of determination to continue catching him over and over before he actually does anything. Bakura finds her tedious and annoying, yes, but he also thinks of her as strong willed and genuine. He’d probably throw “sensitive” into that description, before scrapping it for a more accurate (and softer, less insulting) “caring” — he’s seen her get emotional time and time again, be it about him, or Ryou, or anyone else in her circle, but it’s not always through tears: sometimes it comes from a place of concern and care more than weakness.

Melvin is probably the only one who wouldn’t have an immediate, in depth answer to provide. He does know that Ghostie was the first to sympathize and try to understand the reason for his (Marik’s) actions, and that just counts for another fatal flaw of being too quick to forgive — obviously she must be foolish to think there’s more to his motives than getting revenge, but deep down he knows she’s right to think that. It makes her, yet again, intriguing to him: everyone else is visibly upset or frightened with him, and while Ghostie isn’t exactly excluded from that, she still sees that he’s completely human, not a ghost like the other two. Melvin would probably describe her similarly to Marik: intriguing (if not confusing), maybe a bit intuitive, an oddity. He doesn’t know as much about her as the others, but he does know that he wants to get closer to her <3
